The chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari broke into tears while visiting the police cadets who got injured during the Quetta carnage. Bilawal visited the injured at the Civil Hospital on Sunday and while addressing the press outside the hospital, he broke down into tears.

Talking to the reporters outside the hospital, Bilawal condemned the Oct 24 terrorist attack on the police academy in Quetta and he said that the government is to be blamed for its policy of harboring ‘some terrorists’, because of which such deadly attacks take place.

Bilawal Zardari first visited the injured officers and talked to them. During the address outside the hospital, Bilawal said that even his mother, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhotto was the victim of terrorism and it was during her mention, that he broke down into tears.

He added that his mother had visited Balochistan just a few weeks before her death and had also raised her voice against the issue of ‘missing persons’ in Balochistan.

After the emotional part in the speech, Bilawal demanded the resignation of Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, alleging that the minister had met with the Taliban and had a photo session with them just 48 hours after the attack.

“The Interior Minister remains silent whenever there is a need to condemn terrorism” Bilawal said, pointing out that no action had yet been taken against the Lal Masjid miscreants.

He then gave the deadline of November 7 for his demand of the minister’s resignation to be fulfilled.

In the end of his address, he vowed to root out terrorism from the country with the help of its people.
