Right after brutally killing and later lynching a 23-year-old student, Mashal Khan, from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, crazed students can be seen searching for his body in order to set it on fire.

The tragic incident took place on April 13, when an angry mob killed Mashal Khan and later desecrated his body. In the new video, the suspects can be seen looking into different cars in order to spot Khan’s body. Some police officials can also be seen watching as bystanders from a distance.

Just a few days ago, another video was released in which a crowd was seen shouting slogans and vowing not to tell the police the name of the person who shot the 23-year-old journalism student. The same crowd could also be seen congratulating each other on committing this heinous crime in the name of the religion.

Khan, a journalism student from AWKU was stripped, beaten, shot and thrown from the second floor of this hostel building by a violent mob over blasphemy allegations. However, investigations into the case are pointing towards a conspiracy to kill him over these false allegations rather than a real crime.

Following Khan’s brutal murder, an outcry was created and the public is demanding the prosecution of the culprits. So far, more than nine suspects have been arrested based on the images gathered from the lynching video.

The Supreme Court has also taken suo moto notice of the case and Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mian Saqib Nisar has ensured that justice will be served in the case.
