Boxing champ Amir Khan spends day with Bakhtawar, Aseefa Zardari in Dubai

Boxing legend Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom met up and trained with Aseefa and Bakhtawar Zardari in Dubai on Sunday. The daughters of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and former President Asif Ali Zardari are huge fans of the boxing champ and meeting him made them very happy.

After the meet-up, Amir Khan talked to local Pakistani reporters, telling them of their encounter with the girls, saying that he had a really great time with them.

“I met Bakhtawar and Aseefa through my wife Faryal and they invited me to Lahore. We had some food with them and had a great time with them. They are really really nice people, [their] hospitality was amazing.,” Amir said.

According to Amir, Bakhtawar also has interest in boxing and he was all praises for how good she is at the sport.

“We went to the gym; as Bakhtawar trains and she loves boxing so I trained her with the coach, helped her. We learnt boxing and everything. She did great. Honestly, she boxes very good. She is very strong. She is very committed and very focused.”

Amir said that Bakhtawar also gifted him and his wife with the autobiography of her mother; ‘Daughter of Destiny’ and they remembered the great leader during their conversation.

Khan also shared videos of him training with Bakhtawar in the gym and she can be seen throwing some amazing punches during the training session.

“Nice spending day with Aseefa and Bakhtawar, training them at the gym in Dubai,” Amir tweeted.

Khan was a former boxing champion who holds a record of 31-4 in 35 fights to date.
