An Indian woman by the name of Uzma and a Pakistani man by the name of Tahir, defied the boundaries and got married in Pakistan on May 3. However, there have been several twists in their story, due to which it is now making rounds on the media.

The case came to the forefront when Tahir claimed that the Indian High Commission had stopped his wife from leaving the premises, when the two had gone to apply there for a visa on Saturday.

However, things got interesting when Uzma claimed that she had been forced to marry Tahir at gunpoint and was emotionally and physically abused. She claimed that she never knew that Tahir was already married and had four children.

However, Tahir says that Uzma was aware of his first wife and children and he even has Whatsapp conversations to prove that. He also says that the two met in Malaysia where they became friends and stayed in touch for nine months. After that, both agreed to get married and on May 1, Uzma crossed the Wagah border and came to Pakistan.

On May 3, they travelled to Buner where they got married in front of witnesses while a moulvi read their nikkah. Tahir says that he has video evidence to show that Uzma was never forced to get married on gunpoint.

Tahir maintains that Uzma is being coerced by the IHC to level these allegations to Tahir to present a bad image of Pakistan to the world.

However, the IHC is saying that Uzma is staying there of her own free will and wants to gog back to India.

The case seems to get complicated with each passing day and the real story will come to light only after thorough investigations.
