Jennifer Garner sets the record straight about dating story

Actress Jennifer Garner was recently featured on the cover of a celebrity magazine speculating when she might start dating again. Garner was previously married to actor Ben Affleck but the couple split ways and filed for divorce in April.

According to the details provided, Garner is really not happy about the cover story and in a rare instance, she spoke up about it to set the record straight.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Garner said that she wanted to clear the confusion surrounding the cover story published in People’s Magazine.

“I did not pose for this cover. I did not participate in or authorize this article,” Garner, 45, wrote.

She added that it was “not unusual for me to receive calls from loved ones thinking I forgot to tell them I am pregnant–with twins!–(Geez Louise), but those are so ridiculous they’re easy to ignore.

“This isn’t a tragedy by any measure, but it does affect me and my family and so, before my mom’s garden club lights up her phone, I wanted to set the record straight.

“For what it’s worth: I have three wonderful kids and my family is complete,” she wrote.

Garner and Affleck filed for divorce in April nearly two years after they first split. The couple had been married for the past 10 years and throughout their marriage, they remained one of the most talked-about couples.

However, everyone was shocked when in April the couple decided to part ways. Just a month before, Affleck announced that he had been in rehab for alcohol addiction and thanked his wife for her support. A month after that, they filed for divorce citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.
