Saad Khan – Victim of poor precautionary measures in reality show by Unilever Corporation

A father of four kids, the only hope of his beloved wife, Saad Khan dies in an ill-planned reality game show conducted by Unilever and Mindshare. Saad lost his life during the recording of the reality show when host Amina Sheikh (model for Clear Shampoo)
challenged him to an underwater performance contest. Saad Khan apparently lost his control and shouted for help but lack of safety and lifeline measures failed to rescue him and the young man, a father of four lost his life, report said.

The blame goes to the producers (sponsors?) of the show Unilever Pakistan and Mindshare, for hiring such a sub-standard team and having made cheap arrangements that became the cause of the death, said Aarpix. Cousin of the deceased father, Mansoor Khan,
demanded that all concerned people of Unilever Pakistan and Mindshare must be put behind bars. He wants that the culprits who gambled with the life of his cousin must be brought to justice.

This event happened in August 2009 and now its November 2011 but Pakistani public is unaware of any such incident. Why? Media that comes up with such sensationalized news of a dog being killed in an accident is quiet about this incident. It’s probably the
matter of losing humongous advertising revenues that will shrink to null if some channel airs this news about Unilever.

Who will buy ‘Lifebuoy’ when they know that makers of this soap took life of a 32-year-old boy? It’s all about bribing everyone and black mailing them. It’s the height of immorality as media has rejected to air any such news as they get a fair amount of
advertising business from Unilever and spokespersons of these two companies have been shamelessly calling the incident a mere accident.

Taking a life of father of four kids means four orphans and a widow that will suffer all their life in this male dominated society and people will look down upon them as they have no one to take care off. No news about Unilever’s aid for
the victim’s family. Such self-centred media and ill-planned reality shows should be banned so that no more lives are lost.

Actually this clearly states that the notice at some petrol station was right “Don’t smoke; your life has no value but petrol is expensive”. It’s every man for him and the one with more wealth rules the show and makes constitution of his liking.
