Nasa finds Earth-like planet

North American Space Agency (Nasa) astronomers, with the help of Keleper-22b telescope, have discovered an Earth-like planet which can host life. This planet lies in the habitable zone outside Earth.

However, the scientists are not sure about the temperature, conditions and exact location of the new planet. Some researches fear that there may be no water and suitable temperature to support life on the discovered astronomical unit. Further research will
clarify these issues.

Talking to the media today, a Nasa official said, “We have now got good planet confirmation with Kepler-22b. We are certain that it is in the habitable zone and if it has a surface, it ought to have a nice temperature.”

Before this discovery, the agency had already found a number of planets in the habitable zone, but no one of them is yet ready to welcome the living beings.

Another Nasa administrator told, “They have already confirmed two that are published and they have got another batch that are on the preprint servers so those will be, I’m sure, in the published literature soon. So we are just thrilled about this. We need
all telescopes observing these candidates so we can confirm as many as possible.”

Since its international appearance in 2009, Kleper has discovered at least 2, 326 planets out of which, 48 are habitable candidates. The astronomers are working hard to start life on at least one of them. If this happens, it will be the biggest miracle of
science.

This research process is not new, it has been on since hundreds of years. Since the inception of scientific investigations, the curious minds have been trying to get another habitable part where they can set up a new world like this one.

 Rationally thinking, starting life on any other planet except Earth is still a dream which is not likely to come true in foreseeable future, as many hurdles and hiccups are involved in the way. However, astronomers are hell-bent to make it possible whether
an hundred year later. One thing is sure that the living beings will must have another planet to live on before the doomsday.
