Shahrukh Khan admits Amitabh Bachchan is the original Don

Shahrukh Khan, who is often referred to as the King of Bollywood, has admitted that Amitabh Bachchan, who is widely regarded as the greatest and most influential actors in the history of Indian cinema,
is the original Don and not him.

King Khan’s Don 2 – The King is Back, which has been directed by Farhan Akhtar, was released in 41 countries yesterday and the film grossed an amount of almost Rs 15 crore on its very first day of release.
The movie has been appreciated by almost everyone and the critics and other analysts out there believe it was Khan’s excellent performance, which has taken the film to the glory. However, Khan still thinks he is not the original Don but Amitabh Bachchan.

Don 2 is a sequel to Shahrukh Khan’s previous film, which was released back in 2006, Don – The Chase Begins Again and Don – The Chase Begins Again was a remake of original Amitabh Bachchan’s classic movie
‘Don’ which was released in 1978. Therefore, Khan has admitted Mr. Bachchan is the real Don and he was the inspiration for him and Farhan.

“I have great respect for Mr. Bachchan. He is the original Don, and we all are inspired by him, which is why we mustered up some courage and Farhan, his team and I set out on this valiant venture to make
Don, and then Don 2,” Shahrukh Khan candidly admitted.

In the meantime, Khan was once again asked by his fans about quitting smoking on which King Khan promised that this time he will try his best to get rid of this bad habit but after Don 2 gets released.

“It’s a very bad habit, and I will try hard to get rid of it. Maybe once Don 2 releases, and I return to my workouts, I’ll make a conscious effort,” Shahrukh said.

Shahrukh is considered as one of the 50 most powerful people in the world. He has a fan following in millions as a result to which his smoking habit can make a lot of smokers out there.
