Top-5 metal songs that will blow your mind – Music

First and foremost I don’t want to say anything….just let music do the talking. Here’s the list of songs that you should grab immediately.

Here’s a little rundown on the background of these bands.

Drowning Pool

The band Drowning Pool was shot to fame while playing along with Ozzy Osbourne during an Ozzfest tour. Their 2001 debut album Sinner was certified platinum within six weeks. On August 14, 2002, the band’s lead singer Dave Williams was found dead inside his
tour bus. He died from an undiagnosed heart condition. A spokesperson for the medical examiner from the Northern District of Virginia
said he suffered from a form of heart disease. When asked if the band had any unreleased songs, according to a 2002 Blabbermouth article, drummer Mike Luce replied that "only 3–4 songs were done, including one called "Heroes," which is a tribute to dead
rock musicians such as Layne Staley. I don’t know if we will ever release them."

Dope

The band was founded by song writer and lead singer Edsel Dope in 1997. As childs Edsel and his brother, Simon Dope, were separated when their parents divorced. When the two were adults, they reunited and Simon joined Edsel’s band, playing keyboards. The
pair then recruited Tripp Eisen as guitarist, Preston Nash as drummer, and Acey Slade as bassist.

Unlike many of the popular bands from the 1990s, Dope derived their sound from influences taken from hard rock bands and fused that with the sound of industrial rock acts which had made waves earlier in the decade, such as Ministry, as well as industrial
music act Skinny Puppy.

Papa Roach

It is an American rock band from Vacaville, California.[ Their first major-label release was the triple-platinum album
Infest (2000). The band’s seventh album, Time for Annihilation, was released on August 31, 2010. Papa Roach has sold about 14 million album copies worldwide, and are known for their hits "…To Be Loved", "Last Resort", "She Loves Me Not",
"Scars", "Forever", and "Lifeline".

Disturbed

Disturbed is an American metal band from Chicago, Illinois. The band formed in 1996 when musicians Dan Donegan, Steve "Fuzz" Kmak, and Mike Wengren hired David Draiman as their singer. Since the band’s formation, they have sold over 13 million albums worldwide,
making them one of the largest grossing metal/rock bands in recent years. The band has released five studio albums, four of which have consecutively debuted at number-one on the
Billboard 2000.

Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold (often abbreviated A7X) is an American heavy metal band from Huntington Beach, California. Formed in 1999, the group consists of vocalist M. Shadows, lead guitarist Synyster Gates, rhythm guitarist Zacky Vengeance, bassist Johnny Christ.
