Peer Sahab Pagara Passes away in London
London: (Wednesday, January 11, 2012) Syed Shah Mardan Shah II, formally known as Peer Sahab Pagara, the Hurr spiritual leader and a prominent political figure of Sindh passes away in London today. 83-years-old Peer Sahab Pagara
was shifted to London after catching respiratory infection during an operation at Agha Khan Hospital in Karachi.
Besides the present ailment, which took life of the former chief of Muslim League Functional, Peer Sahab Pagara was also suffering from kidneys and lungs deficiency.
Presently, arrangements for bringing his body to Pakistan are being made. Maternal uncle and political mentor of the Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani was accompanied by two of his sons in London. As per the news, Peer Sahab’s body
will be brought to Karachi where from it will be shifted to Kingari House near Sakhar for funeral and burial ceremonies.
According to the news, her body’s arrival to Pakistan may take three to seven days.
