Mahek Chahal responds to Rakhi Sawant: We only got engaged

Mahek Chahal has responded to the loud-mouth item girl, Rakhi Sawant, by saying that she also has no plans of getting married so soon.

The 32-year-old Bollywood actress and a Norwegian model, Mehak Chahal, recently became the first runner-up of the Bigg Boss 5 reality show, which was co-hosted by Bollywood superstars Sunjay Dutt and Salman Khan. However, while the actress was performing in the Karjat studio on the grand finale, her long-time boyfriend Danish Khan stepped up and proposed her in front of millions of people.

This was certainly one of the best moments of Mahek’s life but Rakhi didn’t feel much happier about it, as thinks getting married so soon will not let Mahek go far in her career.

Sawant was quoted saying as, “I was very sad to see her getting engaged (to Danish Khan). It just happened on the sets and I was so shocked. Why does she want to get married now? Her career has got a fine start. See, the show gave her so much of hype.”

Therefore, Mahek has responded to Rakhi by saying that she has just got engaged and that’s it.

“We only got engaged. I know him for years, from the time I was a child in Norway. He is a simple computer technician with a 9-to-5 job in Norway. For me, right now, it’s just work, work, work.”

Previously Mehak was very happy for being proposed on a national television and her boyfriend also told the media that Mehak wanted him to marry her.

He said, “Danish, no money is worth more than a relationship. I don’t care about anything else. You just come down here and marry me right now.”

Nevertheless, now it looks as if the girl-in-love, who made a lot of controversial headlines during her stint in the Bigg Boss house, has put off her marriage to Danish. So has it all happened due to Ms. Rakhi Sawant?
