 Demi Moore seeking help after splitting up with Ashton Kutcher

U.S. actress Demi Moore was admitted on Monday at a hospital in Los Angeles for "substance abuse", according to the celebrity informational expert website TMZ.com .

The doctors went on Monday night at Moore’s house in a neighborhood Angeleno after receiving a call in the emergency room, and after attending there for half an hour, the actress was transported to a local hospital.

The actress, 49, is now transferred to an institution to "seek more professional help" in a treatment that, according to TMZ sources, seeks to counter the abuse of substances. The representative of Moore, however, has said in a statement sent to the website
that the problem is the interpreter of "tiredness".

"Due to the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional help to treat exhaustion and improve her overall health. She wants to feel better and appreciates the support of her family and friends," the statement reas.

Moore announced in November her divorce with actor Ashton Kutcher, whom she was married for six years, amid rumors about the alleged infidelity of the protagonist of the series Two and a Half Men in September.

"These are difficult times for me and my family so I would ask the same compassion and privacy that you would give to any other person in a similar situation," Moore said at the time of his separation from Kutcher, 31.
