Pakistan to change its visa policy with immediate effect: Malik

Islamabad: Federal minister for interior, Rehman Malik said today that Pakistan has changed its visa policy with immediate effect. He was briefing the journalists on this latest development here today in Islamabad.

According to the new policy, all the foreigners travelling to Pakistan were required to have their visas extended or renewed after returning home, while the existing visas could be renewed latest by mid of the March 2012.

Headed by an Additional Secretary, a task force has been formed to institute the new visa policy.

Warning the foreigners, Malik asked all the visitors to get their visas as early as possible, or else they would be deported to their respective countries after March 15.
