Salman Khan furious over media for showing Saif Ali Khan in bad light

Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, is not happy at all with the media reports circulating these days about his fellow actor, Saif Ali Khan, because he thinks media should have dug out the facts before running what was carried on television.

The actor says, “Saif has created history (laughs). The media was with the other guy and never asked what happened to Saif. I think we should have waited for him to come out in open and say his part of the story.”

Salman adds, “The actor has been a part of the industry since 18 years and suddenly he does one thing and the media is showing him in bad light.”

The 41-year-old Bollywood heart-throb, Saif, last Tuesday had an ugly brawl with a South African businessman, Iqbal Sharma, at Taj Palace restaurant in Mumbai. Saif went there with his girl friend Kareena Kapoor and some other friends to have dinner but the argument started when Sharma, who was also having dinner with his family, complaint the management about the noise coming from Saif’s table.

Saif was arrested by the Colaba police station on last Wednesday after Sharma registered a complaint against the actor for assaulting him and fracturing his nose.

Saif has said it several times that it was Sharma who started the brawl and not him. The actor, who was released on bail after a formal interrogation, even registered a counter complaint and the case is still under investigation yet no one is listening to his version of the story. And Salman believes it’s only happening since media has found a celebrity in the act.

Salman concludes by saying, “We go out to enjoy, we never go out for mourning. Why is an actor always blamed? I feel the media should have waited for the full story.”

There are also noises in the air that this was all a publicity stunt from Saif, as his home production ‘Agent Vinod’ is scheduled to hit the cinemas on March 23.

Nevertheless, it seems as if Salman’s statement will now set a few things right given that he has a huge fan following in the country.
