Veena Malik insists she will not ‘strip’ for any film

The drama queen of Pakistan, Veena Malik, is participating in Rajeev Ruia’s much-anticipated upcoming movie ‘Zindagi 50-50’, which will be released later this year. However, rumours revolving around are suggesting that Veena may be take her being-in-the-buff image a step further in this film but the actress while rejecting all reports has insisted that she will not strip for any movie.

In the movie Veena plays a sex worker’s role and she admitted that there will be a few bold scenes but on the same note she stressed stripping is not going to be there at all.

The Pakistani beauty, who rose to fame during her stint in the Bigg Boss Season 4, further added that she prefers playing a bad girl rather than a cute because she believes negative roles are more performance-driven.

She said, “I’m not stripping for any film. I have never gone nude nor does the film have such scenes. There are a few bold scenes, but they are aesthetically shot.”

“When Rajeev approached me with the role, he wasn’t very confident about whether I would be able to pull it off. I prefer playing a bad girl rather than a cute, bubbly one. My ideal role has to be negative, strong and performance-driven,” added Veena.

Veena Malik has landed into many controversies till date but the biggest of all was her ‘nude’ photo shoot for the FHM magazine. The news caused a storm in her country so much so that she started getting death threats. There were also speculations that perhaps Veena an ISI agent since in the picture she had an ISI tattoo on her left shoulder. Nevertheless, when Veena was asked about it she rejected all reports and confirmed that she is just an actor and not a spy.

“When I spoke about Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif, they called me a cricket bookie; now they are calling me ISI agent. I am not a spy, I am an actor,” she fumed.

Veena Malik is playing a lead role in Hemant Madhukar’s much-awaited upcoming film ‘Mumbai 125 Km’, which is scheduled to hit the cinemas in May. She will be seen in two more movies as well ‘All U Need… LOVE’ and ‘Mr. Money’.
