‘Hate Story’ is not for kids: Gulshan Devaiya

Gulshan Devaiya, who has played a strong role in Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘Hate Story’, has admitted that the film is not for the kids but on the same note the actor wants people to watch it because he believes a part from sexuality, the film has a great storyline.

He said, “From the beginning, producer Vikram Bhatt and director Vivek Agnihotri had announced that it was an erotic film and not for kids. I agree. But apart from that, the film has a great story to tell and one should watch it for Paoli’s performance.”

‘Hate Story’, produced by Mahesh Bhatt, has been released today. The film had a lot of hype among the audiences and the main reason behind was obviously Paoli Dam’s full blown love making scenes. Nevertheless, when Devaiya was asked about whether if he enjoyed the steamy scene or not, he immediately replied by saying no.

The 33-year-old, who was previously seen in ‘Shaitan’, insisted that this was his first love-making scene as a result to which he was very nervous. Devaiya however was all praises for Dam as he says she was the one who made her feel comfortable.

He stated, “People think actors actually have fun while doing erotic scenes. But, I was very nervous while doing these scenes initially. I have done emotional scenes and I can do them really well but this was the first time I shot love-making scenes. So I was not very comfortable. It was Paoli who made me comfortable. She is a very professional actress.”

‘Hate Story’ is all about revenge. It revolves around the character of Kavya Krishna (Paoli Dam), who was once a very successful journalist, till she challenges Siddharth Dhanrajgir (Gulshan Devaiya), a business tycoon.

Well, all said and done, let’s see how much money ‘Hate Story’ collects at the Indian box office because today another much-awaited film ‘Vicky Donor’, which has been directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by the actor John Abraham, has also been released.
