Zardari had offered presidency to Nawaz; says Badar
Islamabad: (Wednesday, May 02, 2012) The Secretary General of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Jehangir Badar said today that Asif Ali Zardari had offered the Presidency to Nawaz Sharif.
Speaking at the inauguration of the party’s new Central Secretariat, Badar said that Nawaz Sharif had declined the offer made by Asif Ali Zardari.
He further said that it was Nawaz Sharif who had advised Asif Ali Zardari to become the President and was now criticizing him.
