Papa Roach announce new album release date

Papa Roach, an American rock band, have announced that their eighth studio album will hit the stores on October 2. The band, however, have yet to name their new record. The band from Vacaville released their last studio album, Time for Annihilation, in 2010.

Jacoby Shaddix, Papa Roach lead vocalist, has revealed that the new album is coming from a difficult time for him, as he was also dealing with personal matters including his wife leaving him.

“We wanted to make a dynamic and explosive record that captures the raw emotions of life. We also wanted to incorporate the biological sounds of rock with a digital edge to have a fresh sound. This is our own version of what we think the radio should sound like. This is the soundtrack to my life and once again I went through some dark s— and came through thanks to the music”, Shaddix stated.

The band’s front-man went on to reveal about the upcoming album details that they have yet to track list the record, which will probably include 13 to 15 tracks at the end.

He also revealed names of some of his favourite songs that include, Before I Die and Still Swinging.
