NEPRA to raise power tariff by Rs 1.51 per unit
Islamabad: (Wednesday, June 27, 2012) National Electronic Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased the power tariff by Rs 1.51 per unit for the month of May under the fuel adjustment surcharge.
According to the sources at NEPRA, the recent increase in the power tariffs will be applicable to nine power companies of the country with immediate effect. As per the decision, KESC will not be impacted by the decision.
The increase will be collected in electricity bills for the month of December.
