2 including ANP worker shot dead in Karachi

Karachi: (Tuesday, July 17, 2012) As Karachi continues to bleed under a day-by-day deteriorating governance of the present regime, two more young men including an Awami National Party (ANP) activist were shot dead in different
parts of the city.

Amin, 35, son of Raheem was shot dead by unknown armed men in Sherpao Colony Landhi area in the boundaries of Quaidabad Police Station. Amin’s body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre and was later on handed over
to the heirs.

According to the police sources, the deceased was associated to ANP. After the incident, panic spread in the area forcing the shops and petrol pumps to close down.

Meanwhile, in a similar incident, twenty-five-year old Aqeel son of Muhammad Yaseen was shot dead by unidentified armed men in Baldia Town.

Aqeel’s body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico legal formalities.
