Censor Board refuses to certify ‘Jism 2’ because of lovemaking scenes!

Pooja Bhatt’s upcoming film ‘Jism 2’ is one of the most eagerly anticipated films of this year since it will feature the Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone in the main role. However, the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has refused to certify it saying that they find it too explicit for the audiences.

The board has demanded Bhatt cut down all lovemaking scenes in the film at least by 50 percent in order to get the certificate.

A senior member from CBFC (on request of anonymity) told TOI, “Pooja Bhatt was sent home. We refused to certify her film. Jism 2 will obviously get an A certificate at a later stage but only when she incorporates the changes which we have asked for.”

After talking to the Censor Board officials, TOI also contacted the director of the movie.

While speaking on her inclusions, Bhatt stated that she has been told by anyone to cut down the lovemaking scenes. Nevertheless, she admitted that Censor Board has issue with a few scenes in the film.

Bhatt insisted that the board also objected the original film ‘Jism’, which was released back in 2003 but later on gave permission. She said she will not the scenes but will smartly introduce close-ups wherever wide angles have been used.

“I sat down and thought about what they had said. They have a problem with certain shots, like the one where Sunny turns around and a part of her breast is visible. If I really had a problem, I would have headed straight to the Revising Committee. I don’t, so I will introduce close-ups wherever wide angles have been used in the scenes in question. It’s okay. It will not amputate my film,” said the firebrand director.

‘Jism 2’ is slated to hit the cinemas on August 3 this year and along with Leone the film will feature the likes of Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh as the male leads.

Well, all said and done, let’s see if ‘Jism 2’ gets an certificate or not.
