Kareena Kapoor: Heroine has given me a platform to perform all shades of acting

The ultimate diva of Bollywood industry, Kareena Kapoor, will be seen on the big screen on September 21 in Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming film ‘Heroine’ and she feels her journey wouldn’t have been completed without this film.

In the film, Kareena has played the role of Mahi Arora, who is a famous movie star in the Indian film industry of today. The character which Kareena is playing is an amalgamated observation of Bhandarkar but she feels it gave her an opportunity to perform all shades of acting.

“Heroine has given me a platform to perform all shades of acting. I am very spontaneous when it comes to acting and Madhur is the same when it comes to filmmaking,” said Kareena. “When you will get to see the film, you will feel that it must have been a taxing journey for both Madhur and me to make this film. But, I had a lot of fun,” she added.

The trailer of ‘Heroine’ was launched not too long ago and it has already received over 2 million hits on Youtube, something which has assured that the film will do quite well at the box office.

The director of the movie is overwhelmed with the response from the people and while sharing thoughts with the media, he gave all the credit to Kareena.

“Kareena is a wonderful actress, but her potential was not utilized completely so far. I have tried to bring out the 100% of her acting ability in this film and she definitely has given a powerhouse performance in this one,” said Madhur.

Along with Kareena, ‘Heroine’ will also feature the likes of Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda and Shahana Goswami in the lead roles.

The dialogues in the film are a bit blunt and some of them have not gone well with the residents of Dubai. However, let’s see how much revenue this film generates after hitting the cinema halls.
