AFC President Zhang Jilong has strictly advised Associations in the region to stay out of the Muhammad Bin Hammam case.

The official has clarified the situation and urged everyone else, who is not concerned with the matter, to simply mind their own business.

“In this context, we would like to remind each member association once again of their obligation to comply with AFC regulations as well as of their duty of loyalty towards AFC. From this obligation results a specific duty to fully cooperate in the context
of this investigation and to refrain from any actions which might interfere,” he said.

Meanwhile the Qatari continues to spend time on the brink of the football fraternity, after the Court of Sport Arbitration overturned his life-ban.
