Body formed to look into Punjab’s demands for uniformed loadshedding

Islamabad: (Wednesday, August 08, 2012) Upon the protest of Punjab’s chief minister Shahbaz Sharif, the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has formed a committee with the mandate to ensure uniform loadshedding across the country.
The ECC meeting held here in today in the chairmanship of the Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
The ECC committee will first analyze and decide upon the loadshedding hours of across the country and then will devise a plan according to which the even distribution of electric power will be suggested.
