Dino Morea: Financially and economically ‘Jism 2’ is a big hit!

First-time producer and Bollywood actor Dino Morea is on cloud nine these days since his debut production ‘Jism 2’ has racked in quite a good amount at the box office.

‘Jism 2’, which was released into the cinema houses on August 3, collected an amount of 21 crore in its opening weekend and it is still racking in moolah.

Although ‘Jism 2’, which was one of the most eagerly awaited movies of this year, failed to break records of films like ‘Murder 2’ and ‘Jannat 2’, Morea thinks for a product made with a total budget of 6 to 7 crore, a business of 21 crore in the opening weekend is not bad.

“I am very excited, because I am a producer for the first time and what we are hearing about the collections, I am really happy about that. I heard that the weekend collections were 220 million rupees and Monday was 20.9 million rupees and Tuesday was 20.5 million rupees. So, I am very happy with the response and the way we made the film with a certain budget, the profits are much more than anticipated. So, financially and economically, this film is a big hit,” said Morea.

While sharing thoughts with the media, the 36-year-old former model also shared his production experience.

Morea stated production is a very tough job and his respect for them has increased a lot because he now knows what trouble they go through.

“It’s a thankless job, it’s really tough to coordinate everything, and my first production was very tough, but after doing this, I learnt a lot, and when I make my second film, I will know exactly how to go about it to produce my second film,” said Morea.

‘Jism 2’, which was directed by Pooja Bhatt, featured the Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone as the female lead and Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh as the male leads.
