Veena Malik: I will get married on national television!

The Pakistani starlet Veena Malik was all set to get married when she participated in her reality show ‘Veena Ka Swayamvar’ but unfortunately her dreams were quashed since the show was aborted after the channel ‘Imagine’ decided to close down its operations.

However, the actress, who has always remained in the news for wrong reasons, is still positive about her marriage and she also believes that she will get married on a national television.

While speaking on her inclusion, the 28-year-old stated she is not thinking about marrying someone at this point in time but whenever her marriage will take place, it will on be on a national television for everyone to see.

“I will get married on national television. I feel TV has taken a stand to get me married! If I decide to get hitched, it will be on TV for all to see,” she said. So is marriage on the cards? “Right now, I am hardly thinking about it. There are no plans or thoughts about who to marry,” she answered.

Well, Veena Malik, who rose to fame during her stint in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house’, not too long ago was very depressed and had said she thinks her marriage plans are jinxed. Therefore, it is good to see her positivity once again.

As far as Bollywood is concerned, Malik is planning her singing debut as well with the Kannada remake of ‘The Dirty Picture’.

Veena will play the role of late Southern sex siren Silk Smitha in the ‘Dirty Picture’ but as per the reports she will sing for the film as well.

Veena Malik has also been approached by Rakhi Sawant’s brother for a film, as she admitted it when she was asked during the interview.

“It was Rakhi who had approached me for the film which is on the life of Laila Khan. I made it very clear to her that if the script is good, only then will I take up this role,” she said. She further added, “For me, choosing a film means strong roles and a good story line. In a week’s time, they are giving me the script, then I will decide.” daily times monitor.
