Actor Steve Franken dies at the age of 80
Actor Steve Franken, famous for his role in "The Many Love of Dobie Gillis", died at the age of 80 in Los Angeles Aug. 24.
His wife Jean said he had been battling cancer but didn´t reveal which type. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and two grandchildren.
Franken also appeared in "The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu", "Which Way to the Front?", "The Americanization of Emily" and many theatre productions.
