Ryo Fujimoto and Janet Y Hu win swimming titles – NCSA/Itoman Allstar Meet

Ryo Fujimoto and Janet Hu won gold medals of the Boys 200m Individual Medley (IM) and Women’s 50m freestyle at the 2012 NCSA/Itoman Allstar Meet.

Fujimoto remained prominently ahead of his closest competitor and occupied the crown of the event by submitting a time of 2 minutes and 06.42 seconds.

The champion was chased by Koheim Fukazawa, who remained 1.44 seconds behind and transpired on the finishing blockade with an effort of 2 minutes and 07.86 seconds for silver medal.

Fukazawa was followed by Takashi Omoto, who stayed 2.99 seconds behind and secured bronze medal of the event by touching the wall with a timing of 2 minutes and 10.85 seconds.

Fourth finest position of the event was secured by Brandon C Fiala, who stayed one and a half body length behind and touched the wall with a timing of 2 minutes and 12.23 seconds.

Fiala was traced by Robert S McHugh, who remained 0.49 seconds slower form upsetting his former finisher and clocked a time of 2 minutes and 12.72 seconds for fifth place.

Afterwards, Hu accomplished gold medal of the Women’s 50m freestyle. Hu remained full body length ahead of her following swimmer and tapped the wall for gold medal with a timing of 26.11 seconds.

Her tremendous pace was traced by Moeka Kanai, who suffered a deficit of 0.80 seconds over her foregoing finisher and tapped the wall with an effort of 26.91 seconds for silver medal.

Kanai was chased by Konoha Shinada, who stayed only 0.20 seconds away from upsetting her preceding swimmer and stepped on the victory stand for third position by concluding her race in a time of 27.11 seconds.

Fourth finest spot of the event was gained by Taylor M Vincent, who remained 0.39 seconds behind and surfaced on the finishing blockade with a timing of 27.50 seconds.

Similarly, Vincent was traced by Megumi Ito, who remained only 0.07 seconds slower and secured fifth position of the race by producing a time of 27.57 seconds.

In addition, the position holders received medals and accolades for their notable efforts at the victory ceremony of the event.
