Paul Biedermann and Maxime Bussiere secure gold medals – 2012 Indian Ocean Meet

Paul Biedermann and Maxime Bussiere won gold medals of the 400m freestyle and 50m breaststroke in Men’s category at the 2012 Indian Ocean Meet.

Biedermann went on a rampage in the race and lived up to the hopes of his supporters by clinching gold medal.

With his relentless efforts, Biedermann stayed in a considerable lead over his followings swimmer and raked gold medal of the race by producing a time of 3 minutes and 47.37 seconds.

The gold medallist was trailed by Benoit Debast, who stayed nearly three seconds away and surfaced on the finishing end for second place by touching the wall with the timing of 3 minutes and 50.73 seconds.

Third spot of the race was gained by Ambroise Petit, who was almost 12 seconds slower from Debast but managed to secure bronze medal of the discipline by producing an effort of 4 minutes and 02.11 seconds.

Fourth position of the event was gained by Mathieu Marquet, who stayed 5.04 seconds away from his preceding swimmer and transpired on the finishing end with the timing of 4 minutes and 07.15 seconds.

Fifth position of the swim was secured by Valery Defalbaire, who remained 6.30 seconds slower from his foregoing finisher and surfaced on the wall with the timing of 4 minutes and 13.45 seconds.

On the other hand, Bussiere occupied gold medal of the 50m discipline. Bussiere earned a comfortable lead over his closest swimmer and touched the wall for gold medal with a timing of 28.45 seconds.

The champion was followed by Kevin Toulet, who remained 1.59 seconds behind and tapped the wall for silver medal by producing an effort of 30.04 seconds.

The silver medallist was followed by Darren Chan Chin Wah, who remained 0.10 seconds slower from his foregoing finishers and transpired on the finishing end for bronze medal by producing an effort of 30.14 seconds.

Fourth position spot of the swim was achieved by Guillaume Ycard, who remained 0.13 seconds slower and surfaced on the finishing wall with an effort of 30.27 seconds.

Furthermore, the position holders received medals and accolades for their notable efforts at the victory ceremony of the tournament.
