The US State Department has recently issued a statement saying that the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is planning to return to office next week.

“Some of the senior staff who spoke to her about half an hour ago say that she’s sounding terrific, upbeat, raring to go. She’s looking forward to getting back to the office,” State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland told reporters.

Hillary Clinton was diagnosed with a potentially dangerous blood clot in her head but after spending some four days in hospital for treatment, she is now resting at home and hoping to return to office next week.

“She is very much planning to do so next week, and we’ll have further precise details about that as she continues to make progress,” Victoria Nuland added.

Clinton, 65, was admitted to a New York hospital as she fainted and fell down while recovering from stomach infection. Later it revealed that she has potentially a dangerous blood clot in her head.

The US State Department seems very efficient to inform public about Hillary’s day to day progress. Their official spokesman has stated in the media that Secretary Clinton is recovering quickly and talking to her staff members as well.

The Department has also said that Hillary Clinton even talked to Foreign Policy Advisory Board and received briefing on some serous international and national issues.
