Ya Ching Hsu tames Karin Schnaase in Women’s Singles qualifying round at Victor Korea Open 2013

Chinese Taipei’s talented player Ya Ching Hsu proved her supremacy in Women’s Singles qualifying round when she toppled her higher ranked challenger Karin Schnaase of Germany and advanced into the main round of Victor Korea Open 2013 at Seoul, Korea, on Tuesday, January 8.

The un-seeded Ya Ching surprised everyone by playing with an incredible speed throughout the battle and she easily punished Karin who was the second seed in Women’s Singles qualifying round of the championship.

Taipei lady was aggressive and positive on court as she created pressure on her German challenger and maintained her supremacy all the way to end up the clash in straight games with a one-sided margin.

On the contrary, the second seeded Karin could not stretch her winning streak on court as she failed to play positive badminton at any stage. She tried her best but failed to stay positive and eventually lost the match in just 24 minutes.

Ya Ching showed a wonderful aggression in the arena from the initial points of first set by building a huge pressure on her opponent.

The hard-to-learn variations in Ya Ching’s shots helped her to maintain her domination against her challenger in the arena.

It was Ya Ching who did not show any respect to her spirited challenger in the starting half and took a tremendous lead in the arena.

The aggressive Ya Ching remained comfortable in the arena after the mid-game interval as she played with the same approach.

Ya Ching did not reduce the pace of the game at any stage and comfortably grabbed the first set with a one-sided 21-5 margin on the board.

Things were similar in the second game of this interesting contest as Ya Ching played in the similar aggressive fashion.

The in-form Ya Ching was in incredible control of the game and she remained successful in establishing a comfortable gap until the end of first half.

Karin failed to show strong performance in the second game of this fight as her opponent Ya Ching played better game and secured the set with a stunning total of 21-14.

Ya Ching remained successful in proving her mettle in the arena in qualifying round as she easily thrashed Karin in straight games with a spectacular 21-5 and 21-14 score on the board.
