MQM Chief Altaf Hussain’s ‘Political Drone Attack’ Hits Tahir-ul-Qadri

Minhaj-ul-Quran chief Tahir-ul-Qadri could not have had it any worse with just three days remaining till what he has set to be a historic long march towards Pakistan’s capital city, Islamabad as MQM head Altaf Hussain decided to point his ‘Political Drone Attack’ towards Qadri and launch it when all preparations were at their peak.

Promising to bring over four million people to sit-in in Islamabad, Tahir-ul-Qadri has made some tough promises to carry through with and even some sources are going as far to saying that he may even cancel it a day earlier to save people the pain of going in without any clear purpose or intentions.

Recent news coverage has sparked debate over what Qadri really is planning on doing since he has not only changed his stance over a number of times, but has not really given any way of supporting the four million people he plans on taking with him to Islamabad. According to experts, it would require over Rs.1 billion everyday to support such a large crowd, questioning where the funds for Tahir-ul-Qadri are really coming from.

While the MQM chief did not surprise by taking a U-turn, what would have really been surprising is if he actually did take part in it, now highlighting what was believed to be a ‘secret message’ of President Zardari to Altaf Hussain via Rehman Malik just days earlier. Yesterday, Altaf Hussain awakened the emotions of millions of Pakistani’s by targeting the father of this nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, as being a dual national as well when he took over the Governor General position while comparing himself and Qadri, who both have been under fire due to possessing dual nationalities.

What remains now to be seen is whether Tahir-ul-Qadri, after spending hundreds and millions in a span of just a few days, will actually go through with his claims, which have surprise all other political parties in the country since general elections are now just a couple of months away.
