Bo Rong ousts Martina Repiska to surge into Women’s Singles main round at Austrian International

USA’s upcoming player Bo Rong showed a strong character and surged into Women’s Singles main round after crushing Slovakia’s Martina Repiska in qualifying round of Austrian International Challenge 2013 on Thursday, February 21, in Austria.

The impressive Rong, who participated in the tournament as an un-seeded player, proved her mettle in the arena and remained successful in winning against the Martina in a lopsided fashion by consuming just 20 minutes in the arena.

Rong was in smashing form on court as she did not show any sign of mercy to her challenger and eventually wrapped up a comprehensive victory by winding up this match in straight games with a completely commanding 21-10 and 21-11 score on the board.

On the other hand, Martina could not stretch her winning streak in the arena as she could not dominate the pace of rallies and remained struggling all the way. She lost the battle in a one-sided way without proving her wroth in the arena.

Rong performed remarkably well from the opening rallies of first set as she played with spectacular speed and took over the charge of rallies.

Rong showed that she has achieved highest class skills in the arena and remained successful in taking a strong domination on court.

The USA shuttler progressed with a terrific speed in the first part and remained in lead on score board until the interval.

The fight progressed in the same way after the one-minute break as Rong did not lose her commanding position on court.

Rong was quite calm and composed on court as she did not take pressure and won the opening game with a staggering difference of 21-10.

Martina was again in trouble in the following set as she faced a punishing treatment from her challenger who was at her best in the arena.

Until the end of first half, the impressive Rong continued playing with control and variations and remained ahead on score board.

Martina failed to show strong performance in the second game of this fight as her challenger Rong played better game and bagged the set with a staggering 21-11 margin on the board.
