Nisar invites politicians to APC on security policy

Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan telephoned to Jamaat-e-Islami, Amir Munawar Hassan, and invited him to attend All Parties Parliamentary Conference on security policy on July 12, the interior ministry said Sunday.
The Interior Minster extended the invitation on behalf of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The Heads of political parties in Parliament will consult on security policy.
Interior Minister also telephoned to opposition leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah‚ MQM leader Farooq Sattar, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, Ch. Shujaat Hussain, and Mehmood Khan Achakzai and extended them invitation to attend All Parties Parliamentary Conference.
He will also make calls to other leaders to make the event success.
It will be first APC since the government has assumed office last month.
The moot will also discuss possibility of talks to the Taliban militants to end the bloodshed in the country.
Nawaz Sharif had been supporting talks with the Taliban when they offered dialogue in February.
