A bench headed by three members of the Supreme Court and Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry looked into the matter of the LPG quota case.

While winding up, the court decided to reserve the final hearing of the case.

Khawaja Asif, a Muslim League-N leader, filed a petition in which he prayed to annul the way in which the auction of the LPG quota was taking place. He stated that the whole procedure was not being conducted in a transparent manner and must be changed.
