Bayern Munich Lose Against City

The English Premier League side which was unable to impress in the UEFA Champions League for the past many seasons have turned things round. They were able to beat the German giants, Bayern Munich, at the Allianz Arena, making a comeback from being 2-0 down and then scoring 3 to win all 3 points. This takes their points tally to fifteen, which is equal to what Bayern Munich has accumulated in as many games as City have played.

Bayern Munich started off brightly as they opened the scoring within the first five minutes. Thomas Mueller was on target once again for the German champions as he scored from top of the box. Later, a crowded penalty area saw the ball in Mario Gotze’s feat and he made no mistake to slot it past Joe Hart.

Manchester City, however, seemed prepared. David Silva made the score line 2-1 in the second half. Later, Milner was taken down in the penalty area and Kolarov scored from the spot in order to put City back on level terms. Right before the 70^th minute mark, a mistake in the penalty area by Dante saw James Milner scoring a goal to make the final score-line 3-2.
