Manchester United Top Champions League Group

Manchester United, who were expected to be the least favourites in the European competition this season, have somehow managed to top their group of the UEFA Champions League.
The current Premier League champions were drawn against Bayer Leverkusen, Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Sociedad in Group A of the European tournament. While many thought that the change in management from Sir Alex Ferguson to David Moyes is going to make things difficult for the Red Devils, it has been proven wrong in Europe.
It was claimed that Manchester United are going to find it hard in the Champions League as they have been vulnerable in the Premier League and they have a manager who does not have any experience of playing a team in Europe. However, David Moyes has proven his critics wrong in the Cup competition so far. He has helped Manchester United accumulate 14 points from the 18 which were at hand.
Despite showing resilience in the Champions League, Manchester United are still unable to pick up crucial points in the English Premier League and they are not even in the top four at this point in time.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool are the top four in the Premiership so far.
