Timberlake and Beyonce Top iTunes Albums

It was reported from New York that the two phenomenal singers, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake, have sold the highest amount of albums online through iTunes.

Apple introduced iTunes back when it was launched. It was duly welcomed by all the artists around the globe since it helped them evade piracy and people had to pay for every song which they were to download.

At first the public did not really appreciate the idea but later they started buying music from iTunes due to the fact that it offered exclusivity and because it had several options which attracted the music lovers.

Considering the fact that people are willing to pay for their music, artists appreciate how Apple is helping them sell their music online.

In a recent report it was revealed that two singers who have sold the highest amount of music through iTunes are Beyonce and Justin Timberlake. Both of them have managed to sell more than 617000 copies of their albums.

Currently Beyonce’s fifth album is behind Justin Timberlake’s once famous, The 20/20 Experience.

Apple also revealed that Skyfall is currently the year’s top-selling movie while Breaking Bad is currently leading the charts in terms of TV shows.
