Pakistan recently engaged in a war with the militants who are residing in the North Waziristan region of the country. The death toll is in hundreds, but before every attack, the Pakistan Army asks the people of the area to leave and register with Pakistan.

Therefore, there are several people from the North Waziristan region who have decided to flee from the region and they are now going to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

All these people are now legally registered with Pakistan but they are considered to be refugees. The country needs a lot of help in the region where they are trying to locate all the IDPs. Pakistan Tehreek E Insaaf is trying its best to help Pakistan through the problem.

However, it was recently revealed that Pakistan has decided to ask the United Nations for aid so that they can settle the refugees who are now entering Pakistan.

Sources from the United Nations recently stated, “The UN agencies have received the formal request by Pakistani government for relief assistance to help IDPs of North Waziristan.”

The request letter which was sent by the Pakistani government stated, “Around 0.45 million IDPs from North Waziristan need relief items including food, water, tents, non-food items and health facilities. We have just received the request today but tomorrow we will sit together to chalk-out the relief strategy.”
