Malala Yousufzai, Pakistani education activist, has urged the youth to work hard to become the future of the world while speaking at an event to launch 500 days of action to achieve the United Nation Millennium Development Goals to fight poverty this Tuesday August 19, 2014.

Malala urged the young people to highlight the issues they are facing and suffering.  She said, “We all have talents and we all are special, so just continue your hard work, continue your campaigns and you are going to be the leaders of this world, you are going to be the future of this world.”

United Nation Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said that youth should be proud themselves adding “at the same time be responsible as a global citizen. Then we can change this world.”

Malala further added, “and if you want to see your future bright and if you want to see development in our future, and if you don’t want to see so many troubles already put for us, then we should try and start work right now.”
