Kamal Plans To Hold Mass Rally In Lahore

Without giving an exact date, former Muttahida Quami Movement leader Mustafa Kamal, said he would hold a political rally in the Mochi Gate ground in Lahore, According to Tanzem Khidmat-i-Khalq Shehriyan-i-Lahore chairman Shafiq Quadri.

Quadri held a press conference at the Lahore Press Club to endorse Kamal.

He gave a brief update of the current status of Kamal, who he said was very busy in Karachi, working towards an event slated for the 23^rd of March. He promised that a “get-together” will be arranged in Lahore, where some Kamal supporters will come and speak before that.

Justifying his support for Kamal, he said “Kamal has done a good job.” “We Support all those who do a good job. We have also supported Operation Zarb-i-Azb”.

He said the country faced trying times, peace and security are paramount for economic growth.

“He called on all patriotic Pakistani’s to support the former Karachi Nazim in his struggle to challenge the status quo”.

He added Tanzeem would take up this challenge, and lead Kaml’s struggle from the front.
