Three Family Members Die In Khuzdar Blast

Khuzdar district, located in Balochistan, experienced a bomb blast resulting in the death of three family members and a critically injured child on Tuesday.

Police stated that there were not any casualties when a homemade bomb blasted about three kilometers from Wadh Bazaar in the morning.

About an hour later,  a subsequent bomb was launched two kilometers from the bazaar, hitting a family of four journeying on a motorcycle. It led to the instant death of three family members.

The victims were Rasool Bakhish, his wife and their six-year old son, whilst a four-year old girl was critically wounded.

The bodies of the deceased and that of the injured girl were moved to the District Headquarters Hospital, where the injured girl is said to be in a serious condition. A case has been registered against unidentified suspects by the police.

The past decade has witnessed the attack of militants on security authorities and national installations in Balochistan, an area overwhelmed with mutinies and increasing idealist killings.

Following three days of fighting in the neighboring district of Kalat, 34 terrorists were killed by security forces on April 9^th.
