Salman Khan looking for new team for Dabangg 2
Khan Brothers Salman and Arbaaz have decided to work with a completely new team in Dabangg 2 that will be released in March 2012.
Khan Brothers have started work on Dabangg 2, however they are looking for new cast for their upcoming movie.
Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan, Sonu Sood, Malaika Arora, Mahie Gill, Anupam Kher, Dimple Kapadia, Mahesh Manjrekar, Om Puri, Tinu Anand, Vinod Khanna and Amitosh Nagpal have been cast for Dabangg Hindi movie. However, now Salam and Arbaaz want completely new team for Dabangg 2.
A source revealed, “The earlier plan was to retain the entire cast and crew barring of course Abhinav Kashyap who had already opted out of the sequel. Dileep Shukla was roped in to write Dabangg 2. As the script developed, Arbaaz Khan realised that he’ll have to work within a new setup and with an entirely new set of man-power for the film.”
Arbaaz talked to the media and admitted, “Why are people presuming that I’d have to depend on creative resources from the first Dabangg to make Dabangg 2? I’ve been born into a film family. I grew up hearing scripts and people talking cinema. I know enough about cinema to turn director confidently. It’s true we don’t have the original crew on board. We’ve hired a first-rate group of fresh technicians for Dabangg 2.”
He added that they know that what they are doing. Arbaaz also mentioned that it is Dileep Shukla who has written the sequel, but it is his vision and ideas that have been put into the screenplay.
In addition, he stated that he knows exactly how he wants to shoot the film. The novelty of seeing Salman playing Chulbul Pandey with a moustache has worn off and they will be going beyond.
On the other hand, the source claimed that most of the technicians of Dabangg movie have opted to work with Abhinav on his next film, a Shah Rukh Khan Starrer set in Australia.
