PML-N says they are not panicking as far as Imran Khan is concerned

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is currently one of the biggest challenges for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) controversial vote bank as per many observers yet PML-N claims they are not much worried
about their rival, as they believe they also have a few points to convince youth which is a big fan of PTI especially the Chairman, Imran Khan.

PTI yesterday on October 30, 2011 gathered a huge crowd at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore as people all over the country flocked to the venue to support Imran Khan. It was one of the biggest rallies ever seen
which had almost more than 2 lack people in it especially the youth. However, PML-N still believes they can beat Khan in the upcoming elections.

“We are definitely not panicking as far as Imran is concerned,” said PML-N spokesperson Senator Mushahidullah Khan.

Meanwhile, PML-N’s deputy information secretary Engineer, Khurram Dastgir Khan, told the media their party can convince the youth which is currently going crazy for Khan. Khurram stated they will explain
the youth what their government did for Pakistan during their time.

“We will go out to tell them what Nawaz Sharif, and his two stints in power, have given to Pakistan,” Khurram said.

“We will tell them that the motorway they travel on was not always there … these modern airports in Lahore and Karachi, somebody had the vision to build all these things,” Khurram added.

One of the PML-N’s official however disagrees with his party’s point of view as he admitted Khan has gathered an army of fans now and he can give PML-N a very tough time, if the elections take place.

“It is wrong to say that we are either unconcerned or not worried about the rise of Imran,” said one of the leaders on condition of anonymity.

Khan yesterday claimed that this time PTI will beat every other party out there with a big margin. He mainly criticized PML-N’s Pervez Rasheed who said he will resign if PTI would even gather a crowd of
50, 000 people.

Let’s see if Khan really wins this time because it would be the first time ever when a cricketer will become prime minister of a country.
