Nokia extends warranty from 12 months to 24 months through Nokia Care Protect

Nokia, one of the world’s most desiring mobile handsets manufacturing company, has introduced a new Scheme called Nokia Care Protect in Pakistan through which the 12 month guarantee of their cell phones will be lengthened to 24 months at insignificant operating
cost. Normally the Nokia cell phones become problematic after 18 to 24 months of usage. They offered a limited warranty of 12 months in the past which used to expire without any problems with the cell phones.

The latest scheme is an appended service for which consumers pay a trivial operating cost ahead of the 12 month guarantee of their cell phones perish. The consumer will get a peace of mind after paying this little amount as they do not have to pay anything
on the repair of their mobile phones for the next 12 months after the initial guarantee of their cell phones perish.

Therefore, the Nokia consumers will be able to use their mobile phones without the fright of damage or other relevant issues for 24 months after purchase. The Support under this scheme can be availed through three different ways. Firstly, the customers can
visit the Nokia Care Centre, secondly there is an online facility for the customers to avail this scheme and thirdly they can call at Nokia helpline numbers (UAN).

The Country Care Manager, Nokia Pakistan and Afghanistan, Reza Burney, addressed on the occasion of the launching ceremony of this new scheme was held yesterday and said that the scheme was another step taken by Nokia Pakistan to amuse its clients. He added
that the project would guarantee the peace of mind for its consumers as it would add another facility in a new dimension of country’s telecom sector in Pakistan.

The organization has divided the operational cost on the Nokia Care protect scheme under the three different categories. These categories have been decided on the basis of mobile phones’ prices. In this regard, Nokia handsets range between Rs 1000 to Rs
2000 that include Nokia C1, C2, X1, X2, E1, E2. The second category’s sets range between Rs 3000 to Rs 7000 including Nokia C3, C5, C6, X3, X5, X 6, E5 and E6. The third category comprised on the sets Nokia E series, N series, and the sets C7, E7, X7, N8 and
N9.
