2012 in Spain, on Tuesday, July 17.

The aggressive Chervyakova, who was also the second seed in the draw, lived up to the expectations and remained successful in winning the title in a superb fashion.

The lofty Chervyakova displayed all of her tremendous skills in this 32-minute battle and impressed the crowd by ending up the contest in straight game with a comprehensive margin on score board.

The lower ranked Caliskan, on the other hand, could not maintain her impressive performance as she failed to play competitive badminton against her higher ranked Russian opponent and lost to her without putting up superb show.

The in-form Chervyakova started the opening set in a dominating manner as she played to her maximum speed and managed a wonderful lead on the board until the one-minute break.

The Turkish shuttler changed her tactics after the one-minute break and played with aggression but could not disturb the flow of her opponent.

Chervyakova, in the meanwhile, remained on the right track without showing any confusion as she was focused and managed to take the first set with a striking margin of 21-13.

Caliskan tried to play aggressive badminton in the opening rallies of second game but failed to shake the rhythm of her higher ranked Russian opponent.

The higher ranked Chervyakova was quite composed in her temperament on court and remained aggressive while maintaining her control over the pace of rallies and was in strong position until the one-minute break.

After the 60-second mid-game break, the in-form Chervyakova continued showing her tremendous craft while remaining positive in her approach and did not face any trouble in finishing off the second set with a spectacular 21-9 score on the board.

The aggressive Chervyakova easily overpowered her Turkish opponent by ending up the title match in straight games by putting up a spectacular score of 21-13 and 21-9.
