Olympic Visa Scam: Abid Chaudhry surfaces amid his brother’s death

Lahore: (Saturday, July 28, 2012) The main character of the Olympic visa scam, Abid Chaudhry has come out of his hiding after his brother passed away on Saturday Morning.

Holding this visa scam responsible of his brother’s death, Abid said that taking this issue, his elder brother Arif Chaudhry was very worried, who suffered a heart attack this morning and succumbed to death.

Talking to the reporters, Abid, who has ended his disappearance and has decided to come before the media, said that his family has been into constant agony since the scandal emerged.

He said that the high tension has taken his brother’s life. He requested the government and the judiciary to be provided with justice.

Earlier, as the scandal broke in news, Abid had gone underground to escape himself from the joint investigation team of the FIA and NADRA.

Chaudhry’s family members said that he went into hiding as he had threats to his life, they also said that he will only appear if summoned by the court.
