Robert Pavoni and Molly Renshaw seize gold medals – British International

Robert Pavoni and Molly Renshaw seized gold medals of the Men’s 400m Individual Medley (IM) and Women’s 200m breaststroke respectively at the 2013 British International.

With his astounding speed, Pavoni remained one and a half body length ahead of his closest competitor and tapped the wall for first position with a timing of 4 minutes and 19.23 seconds.

The first position holder was chased by Matthew Johnson, who stayed as 1.73 seconds apart and stepped on the finishing end for silver medal by clocking a time of 4 minutes and 20.96 seconds.

The silver medallist was trailed by Max Litchfield, who stayed 0.49 seconds apart and surfaced on the finishing end for third position by producing an effort of 4 minutes and 21.44 seconds.

Fourth best spot of the race was gained by Xavier Mohammed, who remained 0.37 seconds behind and tapped the wall with the timing of 4 minutes and 22.81 seconds.

Fifth finest spot of the race was secured by Thomas Haffield, who stayed exactly one second behind and clocked a time of 4 minutes and 23.81 seconds.

On the other hand, Renshaw occupied gold medal of the distant breaststroke discipline. She remained almost two body lengths ahead of her toughest challenger and posted an effort of 2 minutes and 28.25 seconds.

The champion was traced by Stacey Tadd, who remained 2.28 seconds slower from her foregoing finisher and cruised her way towards the finishing end for silver medal by producing a time of 2 minutes and 30.53 seconds.

The second position holder was followed by Kerry Buchan, who remained 0.29 seconds slower from her foregoing finisher and tapped the wall with an effort of 2 minutes and 30.82 seconds for bronze medal.

Fourth best position of the event was gained by Sophie Taylor, who stayed 1.11 seconds apart and settled on the wall with the timing of 2 minutes and 31.93 seconds.

Taylor was trailed by Georgina Evans, who remained 0.65 seconds slower from her foregoing finisher and posted an effort of 2 minutes and 32.58 seconds for fifth place.

In addition, the position holders received medals and accolades at the victory ceremony of the tournament.
