Imran Khan says will jointly resolve major issues with PML-N

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan says his party believes in democracy and will play the role of a strong opposition in the National Assembly.

 

In a video message in Lahore on Wednesday‚ he said despite political differences with PML [N]‚ we will jointly move forward to resolve the major issues being faced by the country.

 

Imran Khan said PTI will form the government in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and will make it a model province.

 

He expressed his reservations over rigging in some constituencies and demanded Election Commission for recounting in four constituencies.

 

He said huge turnout was witnessed during the elections never seen before in the history of the country.

 

The PTI activists continued protest against the rigging on Wednesday.

 

Meanwhile the Election Commission of Pakistan is considering to apply the thumb verification system to verify the actual voters.

 

The commission has been receiving complaints from various contesting candidates about the rigging in the elections in their respective constituencies.

 

At a meeting‚ the commission discussed this matter with Chairman NADRA to finalize the mechanism for the verification of votes.
