Latest installment of the Bond franchise slated for November next year

After a wait of three years, the Bond franchise is back with their 23rd installment, which sees Daniel Craig featuring in his third outing as a British secret agent. The movie is set roll in the British theatres on 23rd of October,
while its screening in US cinemas will take place on November 9 next year.

Apart from Craig, the movie is expected to have Spanish actor, Javier Bardem and British artist, Ralph Fiennes along with the more renowned, Judi Dench, who will play her cunning role as “M”- Bond’s boss.

The title is still a mystery as the movie is still termed as Bond23; however, inside reports suggest that the title could be skyfall.

It will be Daniel Craig’s third assignment with the franchise, which has seen him perform the role in the previous two installments namely, Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. The movie will go under production later his year with the script yet to be disclosed.
However, it is expected that the movie will take-off from where it left from the previous sequel.

The delay for the film has been associated to the bankruptcy of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, who filed for insolvency last year. The new movie will be co-financed by Sony Movies and is expected be another costly venture.

According to reports, Casino Royale was the highest earner for the Bond franchise, with revenues in the region of 594 million Dollars. Quantum of Solace racked 586 million dollars, however, was received with mixed reviews.

According to rumors the new movie is filmed in South Africa and India and Scotland and is keenly awaited by fans all over.

"Daniel Craig’s third time as 007 has been awaited with bated breath by Bond fans around the world who have been made to wait extra long for this film as the world recession delayed the MGM green light for some time, says Ajay Chowdhry, from the James Bond
international Club.

Dench, earlier commented on the movie, “I can’t tell you much more, but I do enjoy playing M as she is such a strong character. I like being bossy, and my grandson thinks it’s cool that I’m in Bond." Also returning is the screenwriting duo of Neal Purvis
and Robert Wade, who wrote the last five entries.”

Hopefully the movie doesn’t falls short of one’s expectation.
